In the video below, I discuss 2 simple tips that help when selecting a bat for your ball player.  Although online solutions like www.JustBats.com & www.BaseballSavings.com are great resources for finding gear at great prices, sizing a bat is something I recommend doing in person.  Once a ball player understands the weight, length & feel of a bat to their liking, shopping online is appropriate.

In the video below, I explain the difference between an open stance, a closed stance & straight up stance.  As a coach, it's important to start ball players off with a stance that is easy to repeat & manage.  As ball players develop their skills & consistency, then variations of a batting stance are appropriate.
